I found this at my last permission, figured it was junk.
Once I cleaned it up a bit, realized it is in fact a locket... the least they could have done was make it silver, or gold.

Because I wedged it open.....and no coins, no picture of a loved one.

Hair.

:help:

No idea what I’m gonna do with this.

Gonna go with 1940’s on this one.
House was moved to current location in the 20’s

Thank you Mean Gene, my dinner is now spoiled.

Dave. Well done congratulations

Ok Gene, second link much more my style

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Yes! You would think that if you were going to find i,t they could have, at least, made it out of Silver!! Congratulations!

Neat find Dave, although a coin in the locket would have been a little nicer !

What is it?

It’s called a mourning locket
Old school way of remembering a dead person....
Not many peoples walk around these days carrying a loved ones hair.
Actually it should be one of those trends that come back.... that’d be awesome

Interesting....

If you find out it’s Marilyn Monroes hair, clone it for me?

Interesting and cool find
