Eldorado question

how is the Eldorado for finding gold jewelry ?I've had mine a couple months now with a 9x8 coil an the only jewelry I've found was a cheap hoop earing that was nickle plated.do I need different coil ? I have been tossing around getting a 4'' coil would this help ?

i have and love this detector.though i couldnt get any hits on questions that i asked. i have 3 coils,5.75,8,and 12x10 i find gold with all 3. but mostly with the 5.75. that coil brings out the life of any detector.

Its very good detector! i have found a 14k gold pendent with it. Gave that to mom for her birthday.
have found dimes as deep as 6 inches. Quarters 9-10 inches deep.
I love this detector!
