I have just started to explore how to clean up my rusted iron finds - experimented first with my tumbler and found reasonable results.....but I've seen great results from TNet'ers with electrolysis. I'm trying to explore this by starting small - found this how-to online:
http://www.dirtyoldcoins.com/restore/electrolysis.html
Can an 8v power adapter get the job done on bigger items like horseshoes, etc? If not, can someone point me to a good recipe sheet of components I'd need to buy to make a good electrolysis kit - preferably as safe as possible?
Thanks!!
