Electronic Gold tester?

I've been thinking about getting an electronic gold tester. Does anybody on here have any experience or recommendations on a good affordable tester. Also, do any of the electronic testers work on other metals like silver? Thanks

I,ve not used one,but a guy on here in the Arkansas forum,Tabdog,used one called a M-24 gold tester.It seemed to work well for him and it would ID silver as well.Look up some of his old posts if you like,he,s a really interesting dude.Sadly he,s passed on,but his posts remain.You could look on Amazon,there,s a bunch there.
