I found this today hunting an old fallen down home site... it dates it back to the 50's not too old but I bet there should be some interesting finds there... I'll post more pics as I get them!

Knob Cover?

Yes. The cover was to hid the small adjustment knobs in a recessed area, usually on the front, below the picture tube. The knobs would be for adjusting Horizontal Hold, Vertical Hold, brightness, and contrast. That was for black and white T.V.'s. When color arrived, those knobs would be joined by 2 or 3 more for color adjustments.

This isn't a valuable find, but is an interesting piece.
