Today I hunted my husband's family land and found something so great, I was honestly beside myself.
Backstory: My husband was raised by his mother, her parents and her uncle and aunt. His Uncle Estus was his father figure. He meant the world to my husband and he was distraught when he passed in 2000.
In 1986, the day my husband was born, his uncle was in his shed fixing a dog collar. He dropped the tag when his brother yelled out to tell him that my husband had been born. He never found that tag.
Today, I found it. He could not believe it - his mother told us the story of the tag, and he was so happy, he actually wiped away a tear. And for him, that says a LOT.
