ending listings / auctions on Labor Day?

What do you think? I know like Thanksgiving, Xmas, and other holidays it's good to end on the Sunday. I am just wondering if this weekend isn't such a great weekend to have auctions and listings end. Monday night is the night before school starts in a lot of places (my area included). What do you think? Or do you think it doesn't make a difference?

I don't think it matters so much nowadays with people so connected. If your items have garnered interest, then those individuals will take the few minutes to bid when your auction ends. People are connected via their phone, iPad, laptop, etc. A decade ago or even earlier, people had a laptop or desktop to go online. Obviously on long weekends/holidays, people would be reluctant to interrupt their plans to participate in an online auction, but nowadays, they are so connected that it isn't a big deal. I think the mentality that you described is an old holdover from the early days of selling.
