Ending the year with a decent day!

My dad and I decided to head up to a baseball field we've never hit before, but I've known about for a while. Didn't really expect much but apparently older maps show there was a school there in the 1940's. Dug a couple of wheat cents, a super cool toy airplane, and a silver locket. My dad actually did a first tonight--he managed to dig his first silver!! It was a great day for both of us and we had a great time together.





The locket is beautiful--the lighting here really doesn't do it justice. (nor does the airplane, you can't see it here but its red.)

Extreme coolness in father & son digging treasure together. Congrats to Pa for the first silver coin and a nice Merc dime to boot. Love that old airplane toy. It's missing it's top wing. Might be in the dirt somewhere back there? I love my heart shaped finds and your locket is very nice. Great hunt and quality time spent together is PRICELESS!
