Today was my last hunt for the year and it was a rather good day but a cold one. Finished the year with four Mercury dimes, two Rosie dimes, seventeen wheat cents, 1 silver Miraculous Medal and a piece of a silver quarter. A buffalo nickel date unreadable, and a silver war nickel 1942. I am not sure about the bullet, could this be my first two ring, does anybody know how old this is?

Dates of the Mercury dimes are 2- 1942, 1936, and 1939. The Rosie dimes 1946 and 1955.

In this post I'm going to include my finds on December 26th. 1 nice 1923 Mercury dime and 6 - wheat cents. See photos

I also had some cool finds in nearby wooded area on December 28th. I believe the large piece is part of an old rifle maybe a compression rifle? Also is a Worlds Fair tag, a skeleton key, a good luck token, various bullets, and what I believe might be my first mini ball.

Enjoy the photos all comments welcome. I really enjoyed this forum this year.

Happy New Years to all of you!!!!!!

I found one of those Worlds Fair tags with a small beaded chain & keys attached in the UK.

Good bunch of silver to finish the year!

That's a really good hunt! Thanks for showing- I like the World's Fair pendant, I found a St. Louis one and it's one of my favorite finds. WTG!

Couldn't believe that sliver of silver.

But at least I know my detector was working, it was over 6 inches deep
