Engraved ring - language id help request

Dear all,

Detecting on one of our Mediterranean beaches,I've found a ring (photos attached) engraved with letters of a language I can not neither read nor even identify. Could be Georgian,or some other language from this area,or something Asian...

Any help/ideas would be much appreciated.

I can see a Maltese cross on it when I enlarge the 2nd picture. Does it have any other markings on the inside of the ring?

it looks as if it's upside down in the pics. don't know where you are located, but if by chance you're in Germany, I'd venture to say it's probably a WW1 German patriotic ring

Hard to tell from your pics but it could be Cyrillic.
