Equinox large coil

Does anyone know if the large coil is available to buy in the UK yet?

I want one for beach hunting.

I called Minelab this morning asking about the coils, the 6" is supposed to be released by the very end of June, the large coil, in the fall.

Truth1253, you are correct. Like getting a car, just add tags, title, insurance, the "paperwork" fee, which makes me choke and all that other stuff.

A response from Minelab this week to an inquiry about the possibility of an future elliptical coil for the Equinox...

"Thanks for your enquiry, our engineering team are still working on the 6” round and the 15X12” elliptical coils for the Equinox.
I have forwarded this to the engineering team but unfortunately as they are still working on the current coils that are yet to be released it will be some time before they even start to look at developing something like this."

On some detectors like my old makro racer 2 i noticed that a large coil gave absolutely zero in terms of depth compared to the stocl coil.

I know the big coils for the Explorer and safari give a big difference in depth on the beach.

I just pray and hope it will be the same for Equinox large coil.
