Error?

Found this metal detecting today. Is it an error coin? If so where to send it to get it looked at?

Front is fine. Back well just no words along the edge. Edge of coin no ridges at all...

PMD someone ground it down with something, if it were a legitimate error the rim and reeding would be unharmed.

I find those coins a lot when I'm coin roll hunting. I just throw them into my spending jar.
