went to an estate auction today and bought the contents of an old barn for $150.....got 3 riding lawnmowers (most likely junk) and a bunch of other scrap which should recoup my investment......but DID get a wheelbarrow, utility dump trailer to pull behind lawnmower, an antique icebox, and a Kenmore porcelain wood burning stove

You did great !!!!! I love the ice box !!!!! Bonnie

I bought a similar cookstove about a year ago for $50, cleaned it up and sold it for $125. Did you get the handle that goes with it? Mine served a dual purpose of lifting the lids on the top of the stove and was also used for shaking the grates. I guess there could be 2 separate handles for this purpose also. When people looked at buying my stove they also looked at the condition of the grates inside, that seemed to be one of the major concerns. With all you got for $150 you should quickly make your investment back and much more.

WtG! The Ice box is way Kool. ! :icon_thumleft:
