Pretty sure it just increases the hours of constant use - not improve performance. But heck, what do I know! :laughing7:

Longer battery life but no change on performance. They have a built in voltage regulator so the control computer only gets a prescribed amount of juice.

I have a LOT of AA batteries left from my AT Pro, and get more hours use on my Etrac with them than I do with the etrac re-chargable that came with it

Hello Monkeys Uncle,

Same performance, 1800 mAh will last longer in the field! I use the RNB Innovations ML-3100 ($ 139.00 dollars) for my Explorer SE and Explorer II, seem to last forever at full charge. Awesome battery!

Regards,

RNB Innovations ML-3100 is the only way to go. I use it on my E-Trac.
No other choice when you get down to it. HH
