I got my Etrac at the end of April last year and I finally found it's first silver half. Went to a new park early this morning with Clad the Impaler but after an hour of nothing noteworthy and due to the fact that the ground was very hard there, we headed back to the northside park I routinely hunt. I started in an area that I have been over a dozen times. Got a really good solid "silvery" signal and turned out to be a 1943 Walking Liberty Half at about 6 inches. Goes to show an area is never hunted out. For the day I also found a 1943 Merc, 192? worn Buffalo and 7 wheaties.

Ahhh, you saw my Walker and had to go get one for yourself. :laughing7:
Congrats Patrick! Isn't it amazing how something that big was missed so many
times before?
Just go to prove that no area can have every square inch cover by a coil.

Great finds! Big, beautiful silver babe there!

Great half, Patrick! I'll bet you were pumped to see it come out of the ground. The detail on that one is outstanding.

Nice other finds too! A merc is second to nothing (well, maybe a silver half...lol)
