I decided to just wander around a couple new ball fields. I knew they weren't old, the ground was but they had brought in a lot of fill to even out the ground. I thought, clad, maybe jewelry, whatever, was worth a walk.

I was right, nothing old, but still an enjoyable hunt.

My AT-Pro loves to play tricks on me.
Rang up as a penny, when I first saw it, I saw the gold edge. :)

Then there was this one. Rang up as a pull tab, looked like a paper clip when I first saw it.

Surprisingly solid lil thing too. Almost 2 grams of .925!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed your visit.

Great finds.I like that ring.sweet silver

It's a part of George Washington University Medical Center. Basically they try to make EMS providers ready for that next big disaster. Looks like it would probably be given to folks who attend their educational/training. NEMSPI Homepage

Just in case the first picture didn't show up too good. This is apparently a diamond chip in the ASA medal.

Well, it was found at a school. Maybe they had a class.

Thanks for the info!

Hey nice little outing and one can never complain with a tad of silver in the pouch but do me a favor. Go out and set that ring down on the ground again and those two rounds that are gold colored.
I think you'll find that the 925 ring came in with a super high tone (kinda like a penny) and the two round objects were the ones that came in like a pulltab.
Silver has a tone all to its own and is a higher tone than copper.

I dug 74 coins yesterday and only one silver and it was a dime. I knew it was a silver dime before I dug it. I dug 18 other dimes and they hit real good and real high tone but not as good and as high tone as the silver.
On Saturday, I dug a smashed sterling ring and again, real high tone and numbers like a penny, not a pulltab.

Just trying to help!

Congratulations:hello2:
