I recently got permission on some new sites and realize my time is running out to hunt them, especially with all the warm weather. Last night I hunted a brand new site, former log cabin site according to the owner. Parked the car and started some gridding, seeing lots of pottery shards.....a good sign! After 10 min. I got a good signal and dug, finding a dirt covered dime. Since the car was close I walked back and rinsed it off. 1876cc seated dime! I just found my first seated three months earlier (almost to the day) so I was pretty happy. Various relics plus my first pipe stem. Could the round eagle thing be a bridal rosette? Ran out of daylight all too quickly. Field hunting rocks!
