It's winter up here, and we are at the end of a cold snap. it got down to -45 C with the windchill several times. i like to make coin rings to fight cabin fever.

Here's what I started with, and below are the finished coin-rings. A great way to add value to some of the coins found that aren't in the best of shape.

Thats cool, how exactly did ya make them?

That's really neato!

How long does it take you to make one?

John, very nice indeed!!!!! ;D

Sure would like the details in how you did them!!! ;)

It takes about 3 hours to make the double sided one as shown. The single sided one takes about 5 hours. I wrote a set of instructions years ago.

(you have to copy and paste these instructions. The [2].PDF must be included in the URL or it won't work)

Beautiful Work , I bought my wife one off e-bay . Size 6 I think . How much do you charge for yours ?
I think hers was made from an old silver quarter . I plan on trying to make me one one of these days .
I like the ones that have the wrighting inside & out better than those tapped with a spoon or hammer .
I have the instructions saved to make one & I'm also going to check your link to see if the instructions
are the same . Thanks for sharing .
