Started a few weeks ago. The cleaning crew at my college drained a pond, and then left everything at the bottom. I thought they would get to it later that day, but they never did. I came back the next day, but they were still there. Not even the hobos wanted them. There was no "all proceeds go to charity sign" and, as a poor college student, I cleaned it out in an hour. This is what I got-
1 dollar coin
13 quarters
28 dimes
19 nickels
2674 pennies
---------
$34.74
I also got some foreign junk, 12 wheats, and a blank planchet error! Not bad for an hour of work...

At my daughter's college there is a pretty big pond. don't think it has been drained in many years. The college land used to belong to the Kellogg's (cereal) family. Lots of prime land for MD hunting there.

WOW !!!!!!That is a saweet haul :notworthy: I wish they did that when I was at Ohio U.
