This afternoon, I went back to the old Church Site where I had found the 1898 National Peace Jubilee badge a week earlier. I started my search from where I left off the previous week and again, it was a day of unusual finds because everything I found was ROUND. . . except for one rusted nail buried 8-inches
(I threw that in the trash when I got home)
The porcelain mason jar lid was found almost on top of this corroded, nickel-plated pocket watch
and the thin wire appears to be a child's bracelet. The mangled tin is a Booth's Balm Ointment container
from around 1930-1940.
Now, if I could only find some ROUND wilver
