EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HALF DOLLARS FROM MACHINES UPDATE ON FINDS!!!

So today I had stopped at my bank as I had called and they said they had 24 bucks in halves, when i got to the bank, the bank mgr advised me the coin machine that they allow the public to use has just filled up 1k in halves, I asked if i could buy directly from the machine and she said yes, they air sealed the bag, took my money and let me buy them......now i know the truth about 1 thing, bank tellers and loomis and brinks hoard coins like you would not believe...........I will post pics later but here is what I have so far:

1964---17!!!
1965---2
66-5

67-2
68-3
69-9..............I found 6 different foreign coins.......54 and 61 Frankin............10 proofs.............1948 2 schillings coin..........I also have found several 1996 halves that are p's that have silver edges, can someone tell me why?---I also found 4 washers the size of half dollars.......23 2015 and 2016 half dollars and 2 silver proofs..........it has been an incredible haul, I found more tonight in this one great hit than i have found in months...........going to post pics tomorrow when finished...........it has been a long night and tired but I also went thru the lot pretty fast and will do another look thru........

I thought only coins 64 or before had silver content?

From 1971 until the present , the San Francisco mint has minted silver proof coins (90 percent silver ) This pertains to half dollars , I'm not sure about dimes and quarters .
