Excal 1000 Coil Replacement Advise

Hello all you Excal users,

I wanted to get some input from you. I have an excal 1000 that I had to send in for repair to Kellyco. I have the 15x12 Detech coil on it now. The coil might be bad. If you could pick a third party coil what coil would you pick? I have an Excal II with the 10 inch coil. If I need to get a new coil I would welcome suggestions. I have been happy with the 15x12 butterfly coil but maybe there is another coil that I am not aware of. Thanks for any input you can give me. Best regards and Happy Hunting!

Send it back to Kellyco, far less complaints on the SEF 12x15.....

I'd recommend looking into
The NEL 15" Attack coil for your Excalibur.
Very impressive results as far as stability while water hunting, great footprint, and awesome depth.
Super sensitive to fine gold too!

The SEF coils are great coils, the repair center will be able to tell where your issue is at, it may not be the coil....

I had a bad SEF coil. It was still under warranty so I put the 12x10 back on it. Things are bleak here at the moment on targets. I found a water logged iPhone 5s yesterday with it. I'm waiting for low tide now. Hopefully Erica will stir up the sand and make me happy.
