Excalibur 1000 Straight Shaft Connector

Hi! Folks, I just bought a used Exal and on the modified straight shaft I can't seem to get the connector to work. If you have any ideas of what's wrong could you let me know. Is there something missing, Thanks, marchas45

Looks like the Spring Clip is missing from the shaft. Make sure it didn't fall out when it was shipped to you. This is assuming all was together when you bought it.
