EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE IN THE EXPLORER MODELS

Can anyone tell me the difference in the explorer models. The years that they were made and what the difference is: explorer s, explorer xs, explorer II, explorer SE. I dont think I left any out. Are they outdated models? The Se has been noted f/ being the best out there, but what about the eirlier models?

Outdated is the wrong word to use nowdays. Upgraded is the word the manufactures like cause it gives the impression the new models are better.

The explorers are basically the same ,
just the electronics updated and the SE has an actual all metal mode tag when you run the iron mask clear off the screen.
The s and xs which were the 1st 2 had some problems with the casing around the upper shaft breaking,but the fixed that with ex 2 and the se.
They are all good machines.Just my opinion.

im not sure about the XS but the SE is a little lighter,faster and easier to navigate than the explorer2. performance wise i think they are all pretty much the same.

Yes i agree all the EXPLORES are pretty much the same my self i like all mine lab detectors but i think for the money the.....SOVEREIGN BEATS THEM ALL.... that is just me... 8)

I havent noticed much weight difference in them,but the 2 and the SE are faster due to the electronics upgrades.
