Greetings all. Just back from exploration of Greenland for 2 weeks. Found these in situ. Thoughts on whether Rubies or Garnets?

I believe garnets.

guys from a tv show found alot of these and the goverment took the claim back.

Yep, look like garnets. Finding garnets like that is a good sign other minerals could be there, like gold or corundum....

Garnets for sure. Looks like there might be some facet grade stuff in there.
