EXPLORER 2 QUESTION

Does anyone know the weight of this detector with batt installed while detecting. How does it compare to Garrett detectors. Looking for a detector to hunt with for 3 hours or more at a time. They say this is as deep as the explorer se. Looking to buy one used this spring. Thanks Tom

Depends what Garrett. I went from a GTI 1500 to an Explorer with no issues. If you put the new pro coil on the explorer I'd say it would be very close to the feel of the 1500. The explorer II is every bit the detector the SE is. If there's anything in the difference it's more.
