oh man, I drool everytime I see the outer banks.. I so wanna go there and hunt the beaches.. awesome shots too.

Those fences did not last...they were put up after last month's northeaster...and, that's foam in the surf, not snow.
Justin D. get wrapped up in a wave here..
Coin is a Charles I, british hammered shilling...1600's...these make a wet, chilly day a little more worthwhile..

Great photos, and a fantastic find. :)

Great find. That looks like fun. The chest waders are the way to go. You can stay in the water all day and not get wet or cold. HH

WOW! and I complain about a little choppiness! You are just fantastic but do be careful! WTG on the great findl

Dont eat yellow foam.

Wow, seriously amazing pics and score. Wicked cool post!! Btw, what detector are you using for this?

Boy, talk about a diehard....Nice find, you earned that one.
Where abouts in the OBX were you? We're heading back to the Corolla area this Summer.

That's crazy looking....but I'd love to do it :headbang:

wow! Not sure I would be there without a completely waterproof detector, but that is awesome

Very Nice Find!! Really I've been in water like this before and I would have to say what you are wearing and your detector are at great risk of not surviving. And not knocking what you did but you should always wear a inflatable PFD, for times like these when you want to be the first out. For waters like these I always have a PFD or my MSD900 survival suit on, each a small price for my life. Again Great find, great pic's and be safe......Joe
