Eyeball find... Madonna mia... is this legit?

I'm starting to love parking lots...
On my way to work I pass this super market parking space everyday. Always looking around... sometimes it's change I find, today I found this medallion.



Ok, it's crude, but the marking is nice, '585' :-)
I can' t make out the other marks on top of it, '7(?)...0(?)6'...
Any ideas or suggestions? Does anyone make out more?

I'll check it out with my watchmakers magnifying glass when I get home but for now the scanned image is the best I could take here at the office.

585 is 14k gold but looks cheap so am skeptical, acid test it or take to jeweler they can tell you real fast.

No reason to think it's not 14K , in that amount it would not have been an expensive use of gold .

Thanks guys. I love eyeball finds, especially this kind!
But to be sure I'll check it out, bought me a test kit yesterday... I just have to learn to use it, hahaha!
