Found this today when redoing a room. was wrapped with string .not sure what it is.has the date of 1983 with patent pending .also has a picture of a tiger on it .appears to be sharpened on one end and made of steel.thank you happy hunting

It's a shuriken... AKA chinese star. Only a dart type throwing weapon.
