f5 with 13" altimate dd coil

I have an F5 with the detech ultimate 13" dd coil. was looking for others that have this coil on there f5. Iam having a big problem with what I am thinking is EMI. Was hoping to get input from other using this coil on the f5.

With that big a coil, make sure your gain is low. Gain is increased for tiny objects in which the 13" is not made. The larger coils are for deeper larger objects. Ideal for relic and cache hunting. So gain should be no higher than 20 maybe 30. Threshold until it chatters then dropped back a bit. Threshold should be able to go medium high then as well as the sensitivity.
