Just curious, does anyone else have an F70 that seems to be more susceptible to EMI and technique when the battery indicator begins to show discharge? I mean the batteries last forever in this machine but it seems to get noisy when they need to be replaced. Still hits on targets, just gets sensitive to swing technique. Maybe just me, been hot in these headphones lately..............

Any detector is designed to run at a certain voltage an when batteries are low your missing targets.

new set in today and works perfect. batteries last a long time in the machine but they go fast in the end.

Driftless, its a crazy thing with this detector. it will go and go and go and yet the battery level won't seem to move then one day it drops two little ticks down, the machine acts a bit goofy, then Bammmm! Dead batteries,,,,,!!! Its a learned feature for this machine. Its really crazy with high end lithium batts goes forever then really goes crazy, then dead.

Yep, seems like EMI gets worse and then new batteries fix it all. Can't complain, I know I get over 60 hrs on a set which seems good to me.
