Hello, I have this magnetometer for auction now on a *cough* certain website. I have no idea if this could be used in a metal detection application or not!
I would love to hear feedback if it could be used in the hobby or not feasible.
Thank you for looking and any input.
Fluxgate Magnetometer FGM-3D2 Walker Scientific, INC.
Comes with a case to keep it secure and what seems to be a data log about a Helmholt Chamber from whoever was using this instrument. Has a calibration date sticker of 06-25-2004. It should be in working order as expected. I turn it on and me the LCD digits do move around. I have no idea how to operate this precision test equipment. If there are tests or anything you want me to check or do for you please let me know I would be more than happy and interested doing so. I expect this to be in working order.
Please call Chad if you are interested in buying this or just want to chat about it.
Thank you.
