Crosswalk....

Overpasses are convenient landmarks. And easy to access. Some allow a degree of privacy.
A cache too , can be located easier than centered in an open field for example.
Under the road for a moment , and then back on top going about your business like everyone else.

Wonder how it was concluded that a crosswalk was involved...(?)
