Fall season around home

These I took around home. It's getting cold around here now and even saw the first bit of snowfall this morning taking the dogs out for a stroll around the open space field. My dog Ollie stopped and began intently sniffing the air and when he does that, I know there's coyote's around. He didn't see it, but I finally spotted it and got a one handed shot of it cruising the edge of the field within the tall grass close to some homes where the bunnies hang around. I have to keep Ollie moving in order that he doesn't see the coyote, because he goes nuts when he sees those varmints.

Pretty fall colors. I like that squirrel pic, too. I bet Ollie is hard to hold on to when he sees a coyote!

Once I was taking a picture of something and had my foot on Ollie's leash. He spotted a coyote that I didn't see and he got away. I thought I lost my wife's dog, but he came back. He's not a very obedient kind of dog and rather high-strung.
