Fallen Soldier

Found this soldier in a friend’s yard. The house dates to the 1860’s it was about 3 inches down. It appears to have a WW 1 helmet so I am going to assume it is from the 1920’s.

I am hoping to find more like this. I only had time for one part of the yard. The house was built in the late 1800's so I am hoping for some older items. I really wish we would get rain, it's hard not to destroy the grass even cutting a flap. I also think the bone dry ground is reducing the depth of my Omega.

Very cool find... Maybe you will get lucky and find the rest of them the young boy lost while playing army in his yard.
