hello all,

I thought this article was interesting, and certainly not good for us as Aluminum prices continue to fall.

last check they were around 10-15 cents per pound for cast, and not much more for extruded. I did not even ask about cans. I will this weekend and update.

Thanx and happy hunting

I have several bags of cans saved up. I checked with the local metal buyers here and it is a paltry .30 a pound. I will continue to stockpile it waiting for demand to start the upward trend.

This seems to be a positive feedback loop with more job losses creating less money in the economy creating less demand for products and raw materials and with less demand unemployment rises further .
Who cares say the creatures that caused this ; they have their mountains of gold while us folk are scratching together a pitiful pile of scrap aluminium.

and do-gooder programs and political correctness as well as recipes for global disaster.
Well done.
