Fancy Brass Window Latch, recovered today !

This old brass latch was buried deep in the soil and has a great patina to it, lovely green

WE still don't know exactly what this latch was used on , some folks say they recall using them but not what they were actually on, memory can be such a fleeting thing !

If anyone recalls using one like this let us know please
