FANS ROMAN SITE OVERDUE TRIBUTE!

'FAN' the superdog hunted with me and Cru' today. I had some good finds, including a Saxon dagger chape piece, a rose farthing . part of crotal bell and a scrappy roman. Spent most of the time with Fan searching out rabbit holes on the edge of the roman site to check if it extends farther than we know.
Here is FAN , the detectors best asset!!! (and my best friend) She is an 8 year old welsh sheep dog with attitude! (and a good nose)!

Detecting with the dogs is is always fun! Our Rottweiler is the first starting digging... She's hunting mice with way more luck than i do on roman coins! Congrats on the Saxon! Do we get pics?

Your our greatest asset. I sent you out on a bit of a mission, whilst I gridded it out. I hoped for better news on a far off 'possible' site but you guy's came back with the result. It wasn't to be this time, but you had a very rare find & a negative result which in my speak is a result. On to the next.....
