hey guys since i've tried posting previously with no avail i'll keep it short and sweet. found at an 1830's farmhouse at about five inches. have my doubts of being real or a toy. O.D.? stamped on right side. any help is appreciated

Electrolysis wouldn't set off any propellent. They routinely use it on huge cannons they find that might or might not be loaded. Breezie might have it solved. It sure fits the shape. Monty

i'm positive she has it solved, as the stamp put the nail in the coffin. still a pretty cool little toy though
