Went to a local park I have been to previously for only few hours, last time producing a 5.33 gram gold ring plus clad. Today I went before work and got an hour in and found some clad and another gold ring 14 k stamp not sure weight. I've only been over about 2% of the total park size. To many targets to dig makes me think it's semi virgin ground.

Excellent ring find.:leprechaun-hat:

Nice Ring!! I bet you went to work feeling great after that find!!

dig all targets until a date range of coins can be established first

Looks like mostly nickels.

I'm thinking that most guys pass these up - there's the lesson.

Love those quicky hunts, they always give you that happy boost! Good 1!

Nice gold. I have bin hunting for gold for a lo g time.i just cant get my coil over it

There is more Gold in that park and at the rate your going you will find it. HH

Play produces gold and work produces copper. What gives? May more gold be in your future!!

Just so people know I run with the MXT Pro using the 950 coil I did order the 6x10DD but it was defective. These are the results I remember when finding these rings and what VDI's I was looking for at the time.

5.33 Gram 14k solid gold Male band at 2 inches rang in at a very clean and strong VDI:28 28 30 30 28 28 and never really jumped other then that.

3.63 gram 14k ring shown above rang in at VDI:37 6 out of 10 sweeps and 30 the others.

Nickels tend to show around 20-22 unless around 4 inches or deeper then it jumps from 20-30 and up to 70 with a general foil reading 20% of the time. I often dig these thinking it could be rings or a deeper coin.

Pretty shallow but when i tend to get readings in the nickel / pull tab area that vary around the general pull tab numbers.

I generally seem to get in foil / VDI:22-24 and VDI:35 fairly strong when its a pull tab and numbers that vary around them when it's been the rings. Just my results so far with the MXT/MXT-Pro as I'm a few months new to both units. Hope this helps any readers.

If anyone else would like to respond to any similar readings they have received and at what depths using the same system it would be most welcome. Thanks!
