My 1800's spot gives up another first today. An 1863 Indian in really good shape. Down about 10 inches and barely made a sound. Not repeatable at all, nothing in one direction, but I dug it. Glad I did. Thanks for looking, Mike image.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webpimage.webp

wow, awesome dig! love the Indians, 10 inches is pretty deep on a signal like that! great reward

Makes one think how much more is out there. Juuuust out of reach! Thanks DL, hope your getting out there and digging. Mike

Awesome early IH! Great shape too. Excellent find

Nice digs and thanks for the pics

wow, great old princess!

It pays to dig those iffy signals.

Sharp indian!

That's a great reward for digging the iffy signal. Congratulations!

Smart move digging that one! When you're at a site like that, you almost have to dig those iffy signals. I love those deep tones at the old sites.....I just have to hold my breath until I can see what it is.

To me, the IH is one of the most beautiful coins ever minted, particularly when they have that real green patina and lots of detail remaining. I love digging them.
