nice MWA ( Modern Woodsman of America ) buckle.

lets not forget the injun annd of course the SILVER

Did that buckle come out of the ground?

Great detecting!

Cool finds man,and lots of em. God Bless Chris

Yes all these were found in the ground. The buckle was about 3" down

Can you show a pic of the back of the top buckle.

Barber

Nice barber

The barber was only a inch down laying flat. When I dug the plug, it was just laying there. First though its Quarter, second though was maybe its silver, third though was when i saw it was a barber. I turn into Dick Viltal And Said "Are You Kidding Me" There was no forth though I just started laughing. & started walking over to my buddy!

The back of the MWA buckle has no markings! I did see one like this on Mark Parker site , but it shows a F in the lower middle dated from 1890-1930

Obviously the dirt had been turned over. Doesn't follow the rule of thumb. Untouched grass decays 1" every 20 years. Congrats! It's in really good shape too. Nearly full liberty.

looks like an awesome few hours to me.

Cool bunch'o finds....HH:headbang:

The ground where the items were found is was a little rocky! Everything we found was less then 3" My buddy found 2 mec dime, a 1901 V-nickle, Lot of wheat's, & 2 good for $1.00 tokens ( 1913 ) All were found less then 3"
