Went on a 3 hour hunt today on a new site that I was given permission to MD on that was covered in foundation stones, glass and crockery. Had high hopes for some silver but came home with a couple of crusty indians , one I can make out the date 1874, the other is a 187? . Buttons , sleigh bells and a few other keepers.

cool finds, even if they are well worn, wtg

For people in the United States ...
any day you find any type of 1800's dated coin(s) in any condition - is a good day - congrats !

Also, all of the 1870's Indians don't get found very often.
Look in your coin "Red Book" or on the Net for details.

A few years ago I found 2 1874 indians on an old site that were in really good condition, put them on ebay and was stunned that they sold for $123.00 , I don't sell anything any more though.

Could have been worse and only found one indian :)
congrats
