Favorite settings for F5

Hello fellow mud flippers, just got my new F5 and was wondering if any of you have a few settings I could use in my trainning period that work for coins or relics,,,looks like its going to be a great machine!!...Steve in Tenn.

I have only had my fisher for 2 months but I read some of the reviews and field test. Here's the way I set mine and it works for me. Turn disc counterclockwise till it clicks, ground balance your machine over ground free of targets. Set disc to reject Iron or even foil. Set thres around 3-5 and as much gain as you can use without chatter. It's better to use Tones#3 or 4, but it's preset to 2. Recheck your ground phase and if your readings are too far off just hit the phase lock and your set. Cliff

I Cliff, sorry for the tardy responce....your settings work great, and like you I know this is a learning process...but sofar, this is one really nice machine...I'll post any good finds....Steve in Tennesse.
