We had a nice mild spell here earlier in the week, so I decided to take a walk in the fields and get very muddy. I walked a new field, and it showed some potential. While I didn't find much, I did manage one nice keeper.

Its an 1847 largie, and its in very nice shape. Usually the US coppers I pull up in the fields around here are in very rough shape. I also managed to pull up a lonely musket ball and a few pieces of old glass and pottery. I'll have to re-visit this spot once the better weather gets here and the fields dry. Thanks for looking.
