Feb starts out great with weather and CW relics.

It was 60F plus here in Tn. Today so decided to hunt a little. Not much early on in the hunt but kept it up. Ended up with a nice canteen spout. Soldier scratched his initials or something in it but can't really make it out. Also a really good .44 cal pistol bullet. The eagle button back/ fired bullets rounded out the day.

Now that gives me hope for someday it not being a slushy mudhole HERE. Gonna go out for a little after church tomorrow . . .

Congratulations. Great finds. Actually dug with ease yesterday myself. Last Thursday I curled the end of my spade trying to beat thru the frozen ground.

Your comment on the canteen spout tells me you must be a long time relic hunter here in Tn.
