This has been quite a winter. Last few weekends I've been able to get out for a few hours here and there. Last week I was on the beach found some junk jewelry and a whole bunch of clad.

Today with the temperatures rising it was another day I got to go out, it's February in the Northeast, hard to believe we're still hunting. I am posting some modest better finds of the day.

I did not photograph all of the clad and junk but I did manage to six Wheaties, oldest being 1917, buffalo nickel looks like 1920, 1936 Merc, A nice sterling silver ring with a nice ornate pattern on it. I got excited for the larger coin looking object in the photograph, I thought I found a farthing or something like that, but instead it's a radio orphan Annie's secret society pin. LOL you never know what you're going to find.

Enjoy the photos and happy hunting!

For real the weather has been crazy all over! Nice finds.

Wow nice especially for us ny people this time of year I'm going out today can you believe it

My two favorites are the ring and the token. That Orphan Annie token is far more valuable a find, in my book than most old coins!

Thanks Treb, never thought of the orphan Annie as a token, I'll take a picture of the back and maybe do some Google search on it.

Orphan Annie thing is pretty cool and of course, it's always nice finding silver.

Very cool "radio Orphan Annie's" pin, congratulations!
