Man, have I been jonesin' to get out.
In the past few days, the ground has been "semi"-digable around here. Depending on the specifics of the location. (Sunshine, shade, etc.) But MOST places are still pretty frozen.
I went out to a wooded area today for about 2 hours, and found a few coins.
I kinda like it when the snow melts, and the leaves are really flattened down good to the ground.
Nothing really old or spectacular here, but I was happy to see silver.
Mostly wheats, the oldest being a 1911. A 35 quarter.
And finally my first Ben Franklin half, a 62. About 5 inches down.
I'm up to 7 or 8 Walkers now, and 2 Barber Halfs, but no Franklins, until now. ;D
Supposed to go back into a deep freeze again soon now. :(
Maybe I'll try to get out tomorrow again.
Thanks for looking.

Way to take advantage of the opportunity!! Nice finds!!

That's awesome! The Franklin half is way cool. I just got in to Michigan last night, and am BUMMED to see so much snow on the ground. I think the DFX that I keep at my in-laws house here will be staying in the box this trip :BangHead:

WTG on your first find. always like to find silver.....Matt
