Bullet looks like a fired williams cleaner bullet, if so it's "War of northern Aggression" bullet...d2

WTG Rick! Congrats on the nice finds.
That symbol was also used by the american indians before Hitler
as a good luck symbol...just a thought.
Looks like a pendant with the hanging ring missing.

Your bullet looks like a Williams cleaner. During the civil war,rifled muskets fired Minie balls,a three ring bullet with a hollow base.But the black powder quickly fouled the barrel,so every ten shots or so they would fire a Williams cleaner to get some of the crud out of the bore. The Williams cleaner has a zinc washer at the base,and the small gap between the base and the lead was filled with an abrasive that did the cleaning. good find!

I'm sure nobody is offended... and Bobby is right. The swastika was used all over the world as a "good Luck" charm, and even with the symbol backwards.
