Few recent finds

Its been slow hunting in the creek, no good washout yet this winter. Most gravel bars are still covered in leaves, got lucky with these few. A nice LeCroy with a little tip ding, not sure about the big Quartzite thing. A few Jasper flake tools, a small pile of Quartz and a cool little Chalcedony scraper. Thanks for looking, HH.

Nice finds , that lecroy is sweet , that jasper one looks like a nice point in the water I hate when that happens but still a nice piece

Great finds. I stop by a valley here in Colorado that is just littered with fragments of the grainy quartzite material. I've only found a few worked examples of the same rock, but boy the way this particular quartzite fractures an edge is beautiful. It's tough and very razor sharp. FYI, once I was playing Scrabble and I had a Q, Z & U in my letters. I eventually came up with the opportunity to layout the world Quartzite in the game. The points that word racked up killed it. After that no one in the game came close to catching up with me.

Nice pieces you found. Lots of rain here more than normal as a matter of fact. But they keep saying we are in a drought and I cant see how. Im guessing 20 inches of rain already this year in N GA
